Steve Rogers is Chief Digital Officer of Reach Plc. responsible for all Digital products. Reach Plc is one of the largest British news publishers, with over 250 national and regional titles. Before this Steve was at Google where his key roles were: The leadership of the design of AdSense, DFP Ad Exchange & Admob. The Emerging Markets Team, leading the design of a payments platform pilot, Google photos, and mapping local businesses. Thirdly the privacy team with products offering transparency and choice to users.
Steve’s early career was as an industrial designer for Braun then Philips Electronics, he helped found the Philips incubator centre in Silicon Valley. Then Razorfish as VP Product Development. In August 2001 he joined the BBC, re-launching BBC.co.uk and BBC interactive TV. He led the eng, content, and UX teams. In 2006, he joined B.T. to form the strategy for their converging digital products.
