Andreas and his team of risk modellers, based in Belfast, Edinburgh and Manchester, develop and deploy cutting-edge fraud models across the UK and Ireland. His team works with business and technology partners across the bank to deliver models which safeguard our customers and reduce the social and economic impacts of financial crime.

A graduate of TU Darmstadt, which was described by Angela Merkel as Germany’s “Artificial Intelligence jewel”, Andreas has over 15 years experience in credit, capital and operational modelling with a specific interest in Fraud. He is passionate about operationalising the value of data to combat financial crime.
